Wow. How does a month go by so quickly??
Or rather, how does a whole year go by this quickly??
My baby, Ruthie Claire, is ONE today.
This is just crazy. I can still smell the hospital room where I held her for the very first time.
I was smitten over this baby from the moment I laid eyes on her.
She is summed up in one word; sweet.
Ruthie Claire,
We love you so very much. I could hold you in my arms forever- and you'd let me.
You have taught me how to slow down and enjoy each moment.
You have 3 mommas- bless your little heart. That explains why you aren't walking yet. You get around just fine doing your commando crawling; no worries there. And I'm perfectly fine with not rushing things. I want you to be the baby as long as you can be. And your other 2 mommas "oooohhhh" and "aaaahhhh" over you all day long. It's pretty special for this momma to watch.
I pray that Jesus would capture your heart at an early age and that you'd fall deeply in love with Him and His unfailing Word.
Happy Birthday my love.
Momma

Hey! So, thanks for the encouraging comment you left on my blog. I am new to blogging, so I am not sure that if I wrote back on MY page, you would get it. I pretty much blog stalk you and your farm. I am so in love with your farm, and natural way of living. I recently saw that you have a food drop in Katy. We are semi- close to there. I will be placing an order soon.
I spoke with Kirby recently about raw milk. I try to stay away from bread, except for sourdough, and milk. I am a Nutrition major at A&M about to graduate, and its SO sad that their philosophy on nutrition and food is not at all what I believe. So, its up to me to learn about eating naturally, and come up with my own philosophy. I know nothing about raw milk, and would love to know more. I see that you are now supplying customers with the milk. OK- I think thats enough for now. We are doing well on the NO sugar. I am pretty excited that I finally made the decision to do it. Do you also eat gluten free? I am probably going to be linking your farm and blog about a million times in my blog, if you dont mind.
By the way, Your girls are precious!
