Mosier Wedding

I had the priveledge of taking pictures at Matt & Erin Mosier's wedding. It was a beautiful Christ-centered wedding.....my favorite. Their reception was at a sweet loft in downtown Waco.

This couple has blessed my life by being in it. They truly delight in the Lord and as a reflection of that their marriage is filled with delight in each other. Erin and Matt have so much fun together and truly are best friends. What an amazing start to such an beautiful marriage.

The Lord has more than showered me with great relationships through photography. The relationships with most of the brides I have worked with have turned into beautiful friendships that are growing. Erin is one of those special girls! I have gone from not even knowing who she was (man, I was missing out!) to calling her a sweet friend.

Here are some of favorites from their wedding photos.

I realize that as of lately this blog is looking more like a photography blog. I promise its not. There is more Yonder Way to come.......I promise.

I've been doing lots of editing and fun stuff and the Mosiers.....well, they're just amazing!

That's okay...we love reading about ALL areas of your life. Most of the photography is of the farm and its inhabitants anyway. :) Keep it coming! I LOVE IT! Lyns is my fave. I love you!

ps - I'm going to contact Carissa and see if we can hook up in Houston sometime since it looks like she's into photography too. Yay!

Sarah- That is a great idea! Carissa is one of my previous brides turned friend also (along with yourself- yay!). She is so sweet and wonderful! I think that they are moving to the Katy area.

That would be lots of fun!

Lyns - thanks for the prayers. This will be my 2nd wedding (technically), but the first one that is the real deal. I'm trying not to get nervous about that too! My main concern is always lighting...that's the one thing that I struggle with. Next week, I'll have some extra time to pay around though and will hopefully learn a little more about my camera.

Lyns,
I love the pics of our wonderful friends, the Mosiers! Their wedding was such a joy to us too! Lyns, after hearing Carissa talk about you, I wanted to tell you what an effect you are having on these younger girls who are interested in photography. This is a ministry God has given you, and I am personally seeing you effect some girls I love. Thanks for making yourself available to them and loving them!

Lyns, please do not apologize for anything that you put on your site. The site will naturally take on the personality of yourself and your "planet". That's what makes it so special and so sweet. Oh, and unpredictable and fun:)

I marvel at your ability to multi-task and do all with such excellence.

Love,
Meeme'

Wow Jenn! Thanks so much for that encouragement. That means so much to me. Really.

I love my girls. All of them. It has been super fun getting to know each of them and calling them friends.

Thanks!

Just in case the email I sent went into your spam (sorry to send you the same thing twice!):

Ladies and Gents,

I know it's late but I have a prayer request that needs some immediate attention. One of our VERY close family friend's children had a brain aneurysm this afternoon while playing in the yard outside at his house. He was taken by helicopter to TX Children's hospital in Dallas, TX but he is currently on life support. Surgeons should be operating on him any minute now - they have already drilled a hole in his skull to relieve the pressure. The child's name is Spencer Squire and he is 7 years old and he and his family need all the love and support we can offer them right now. Please send this to everyone you know and lift this little boy and his family up in your prayers.

Thank you and God Bless,

Daniel & Sarah Shalley

Hey - saw some Hairspray pics on Larra's blog. My mom was in the theatre with you all and she loved the experience with you ladies...all she could talk about were the adorable women dressed up in the theatre. You girls make me laugh!

I know Sarah! I saw your mom and sis sitting there and was trying to make my way through the hairdos to get over there and say 'hi' to them. But, they left in a hurry!

What is even more funny is that I ran into your other sis at Charming Charlie's all dressed up getting some jewelery right before the movie. All I was missin' that day was me some Sarah!

Love ya!

Awww! I wish that I had been in town and could have gone to the movie too! The middle sister works at Charming Charlie...you may see her there often. I'll tell Mom you said hi! Talk to ya soon.
