Blogging Made Simple

I love reading blogs.

I love reading about my favorite people along with their thoughts, experiences, creativity, humor, insight, and wisdom. So I find myself at least once a day clicking on 'My Peeps' links to read the latest in your lives.

Before I click on your page I get excited wondering if there is anything new, exciting, thought-provoking, or random in your life. When I discover that you have updated your blog with a new post I almost do a cheer followed by a cartwheel! It is really that exciting for me.

What can I say? I have to gift of being a relational person. I love people!

To simplify my blogging, I've decided to subscribe to a blog tracker that will let me know when you have updated your blogs. This will not only save me LOTS OF TIME, it will save me LOTS OF HEARTACHE. What I don't know won't heart me. Hello, non-updaters! But, I can still cheer for those of you who post new things.

I'm really excited about this. I invented this in my head and thought that it would be awesome to be able to keep up with your favorite blogs without having to click on them everyday!

If you are interested, go to TECHNORATI to do the same.

There may be others out there, but this is the one that I came across first.

oh Lindsey... so behind the times... it's ok. I'm glad you found it.

Also check out Google Reader, or any other thing that may pop up when you google "rss feeds." Done.

OMG! This is EXACTLY what I've been dreaming of! I spend WAY too much time each afternoon clicking away to see who's updated and who hasn't. Haha! Too funny. I know how you feel. It sounds absolutely ridiculous, but it makes my day when people post!

THANKS for the new post and the hot tip!
Love you.

ps - HOW exactly do I go about this?

I know D.O.

It is pretty sad. I would admit to a lot of other things that prove that I'm behind the times even more than I already am, but I will reserve the right!

What does 'rss' stand for anyways? I'm serious. Update me and make me hip!

A long time ago, I think D.O. posted step by step instructions on his blog for how to do the RSS feed.

I LOVE IT.

You need to find it on his blog. It was so easy to do following the steps he gave.

I feel it is worthy to mention, that somehow my Technorati has failed me. Yes, I was not notified nor did it show up in my Technorati account that I had some new posts on my peeps' blogs to read. When I checked up on some people, new things appeared, I cheered, and then I was just frustrated for not knowing!

To that I say 'BOOOOOOO'!

I don't know what exactly happened, so I will be looking into D.O.'s way of doing things.
