Little Miss Ruthie Claire!!!

Little Miss Ruthie Claire has been a joy! We love her so much. She is a very content little girl! Her appetite is great and nursing is going really good! To sum her up…..she is SWEET! That is the word we are constantly using to describe her. This mama has no complaints. Even in the midst of waking up for nighttime feedings, my attitude is that of thankfulness and joy.

The c-section went relatively smooth and I’m bouncing back really quickly from surgery. This third time around has definitely been a lot easier than the previous c-sections. I’m so thankful for that.

Kaylyn is such a big helper. She is in love with Ruthie. Both, Kaylyn and Laney Rae, can’t stop kissing her. Its precious to watch. The first thing Laney Rae does when she wakes up from sleeping is look for Ruthie. In her raspy scratchy voice, Laney Rae talks so sweet to Ruthie.

Besides our car dying on the way home from the hospital in the Chick-fil-a drive thru, we’ve had a pretty smooth transition. I’ll have to save that story for another post. If I type that whole thing up, I might bust a stitch! At the time, it wasn’t funny in the least. But looking back, its completely hilarious and sit-com worthy!

We are beyond blessed to have family near by. Kaylyn stayed with her cousins, Honey, and Uncle Aaron while we were in the hospital. Laney Rae stayed with her Tio, Tia, and cousin Ava. My mom and grandpa (yes, Ruthie’s great-grandpa!) has been here with us helping us get situated and keeping the older girls happy!

Jason and I feel very blessed to have three precious girls in our home. We can’t wait to see who Ruthie becomes! We treasure these newborn days because we know that it will be gone in the blink of an eye.

Thank you for your prayers, notes, and encouragement! Here are some pictures during our stay at the hospital.

She is beautiful!

Hey, just a thought but have you thought about just having them put in a zipper instead of stitches? Would make it easier to get the next one out.

Won't say who :-)since I now know you don't actually track your blog :-)

Lynsey & Jason...this post has me sitting with tears in my eyes. I will never forget the day my parents handed my baby ister to me. I fell in love. I can see it on KK's face. What pride there is in being the BIGGEST sister. Oh, the responsibility and the joy in helping our parents with our sisters. On to Ruthie...she is GORGEOUS! You two did well, for the 3rd time. : ) I see KK & LR in her -those lips and eyes are her sisters. I love that you are all head over heels in love with her. I can't wait to meet her. Let me know when summer visitors are welcome. I will be there in a heartbeat. Your entire family is in my prayers. I love you all. Congratulations!

She's a Kramer girl! Such a beauty.

I want her to stay little, but I also can't wait to see who she'll become. They are all so wonderful in their own little ways.

Love you and all those who belong to you.

Hi there ! Just discovered your blog this a.m. via Holly Mathis' blog. First -- congratulations on your beautiful new arrival. You have a beautiful family. 2nd - I am so encouraged by everything y'all are doing with your farm. My recently married son and his wife have been talking/dreaming about one day soon when they will have the chance to live the same way -- more simply and close to the land. I passed your blog on to them. We will be visiting regularly now. Thanks so much for the inspiration. Blessings, Gwyn Rosser @ The Pink Tractor
