Pickin' up chicks.........

in our Honda Civic.

I woke up, started my morning cup of coffee, had my cup full of wonderful, and glanced out of the window only to see this crazy rooster sitting in Jason's car**. It was one of those moments where it totally threw me off. I hadn't had enough coffee pumping through my veins to process seeing a rooster sitting behind a steering wheel of a car. I had a good laugh and the rooster left Jason a "present" in his seat. Farmer Jason did not laugh about that.

If you had to name the first photo, what name would you give it? Just curious.

**How adorable is it that my husband drives my old white two-door Honda back and forth to Houston? He has a "manly" truck and has had one for many years, but he chooses to drive this thing because of the obvious- gas prices. Oh, his guys at his station all use to laugh at this big ole' man getting out of an itty bitty car, but they aren't laughing anymore. If you drove up to his station during his shift, you'd see a lot more of those itty bitty cars around.

Crazy Chicken Drivers anyhow! How funny! We too are looking for a little car for Todd to drive back and forth to work - the truck at 13 mpg is just not cutting it these days. Too funny!

I'm laughing my butt off! That's hilarious. I would have had to look twice too! Your farm animals are playing tricks on you...poor Jason.

Love ya.

That is so funny! And it makes me laugh even harder knowing you saw this early in the morning when you weren't quite awake! HAH!

I love your farming stories.
Love ya!

"Proof That Chickens Really Do Cross The Road"

And on my completely weird way, I'd have to say.. this is what goes thru my head checking out those pictures... "What music is the rooster playing on the radio while driving?" Really, I wonder that. And here's what came to mind as background music:

"Stayin' Alive, stayin' alive,... bock, bock, bock, bock... stayin' aliiiiivvee!"

Can't you just picture the rooster doin his head back and forth like roosters do, goin with the flow of the music? :) With the right technology, I could amuse myself for hours. LOL!

(Do you ever wonder why you let people like me make comments?) :P

You might be a red-neck if?

Is that baby a "hatch" back?

We may not now why it crossed, but now we know how.

If you fertilize a car will it become sustainable too?

I hate cocky drivers.

We are full of one liners, just not "seat" liners.

Chicken Express has gone organic.

Looks like Layne's has a new delivery driver.

ok the Amy's are funny.

I was gonna say, you may be a redneck if a chicken is just sitting in your car.

HA HA!!!

PS Jason, Mike needs to talk with you. HEE HEE HEE!!!!!!!

Hilarious! I'm about to share this with Marcus; he'll really enjoy it.

No clever one-liners, but on an relatively unrelated topic . . . I'm thinking about buying a second lens (or requesting one for the next upcoming holiday). I just shoot with the one that came with my Canon rebel. Any recommendations for a good first lens purchase? Maybe one that takes great photos in low light?
